My Motor Mats was created for occupational and physical therapist working with children who will benefit from increased movement throughout their day. With My Motor Mats, therapists are given the creativity to create movement opportunities that can be specifically tailored to the individual needs of the child. My Motor Mats are an occupational and physical therapy tool and not a toy. Children should not use this product without supervision.

The development of My Motor Mats started in 2018 and comes from my love of working with children who have motor planning and sensory processing challenges. I also experienced road blocks and challenges with being able to create permanent sensory paths in our school building and My Motor Mats was born.

Research guides us that it is the variability of practice across multiple settings in an unpredictable order that helps to support motor learning (Jarus, 1994). My Motor Mat graphics are designed to be efficiently and quickly arranged in various motor sequences to enhance best practices in motor learning. Due to My Motor Mats portability, therapist will be able to take motor activities into the classroom, home, or clinic with ease. My Motor Mats sets will allow therapist to bridge academic learning with motor activities, keeping kids engaged in the learning process.
